Say What You Want, Just Spell My Name Right

Alas, the author of this blog cannot even do that - referring to me as "Challew" the entire post. He accuses me of mangling scripture, yet his reading skills are so poor he can't even tell an "e" from an "a." Too rich.

His critique of Whosoever is hysterical (and full of self-righteous hysterics) however, so go check it out - excerpting it does not do it justice.

Don't feel bad - they also misspelled stupefying (stuptefying) and schism (shism). It's the heady faux-intelligent tirades like theirs that make me doubt it all. And it's people like you that make me hang onto my faith for one more day.

Thanks for your comment, b. I was laughing too hard to really notice the other errors. I thought it was too funny that they accused me of mangling scripture like the white people who mangled it to keep slavery.

Say what??

The Bible is quite clear that slavery is acceptable. It was the abolitionists who had to do biblical gymnastics to argue against slavery.

Besides, I cannot see any problem with reading the scripture as including the most people instead of excluding everyone. Neither could Jesus or Peter so I feel like I'm in good company.

Thanks for stopping by!

I meant to say "excluding ANYone" instead of 'everyone.' It's still early in the morning ...

Still laughing...and crying...over the article. I'm laughing simply because their hatred is so palpable and yet they live in such denial. And crying because there hatred is so palpable and they live in such denial. Sad. Wasn't it the pharisees who spent so much time proclaiming their own righteousness only to have Jesus proclaim them as white-washed tombs? Sad. Just sad.
